Product Description
High-Power Gigabit PoE++ Connectivity
The TRENDnet TPE-119GI is an IEEE 802.3bt Gigabit PoE++ injector designed to add Power over Ethernet capability to a standard non-PoE Gigabit Ethernet connection.
The injector combines network data and electrical power into a single Ethernet connection, allowing compatible PoE devices to be installed without a separate power connection at the device location.
Connect the TPE-119GI between a non-PoE network switch and a compatible PoE-powered device to deliver both Gigabit Ethernet data and power over standard Ethernet cabling.
Up to 95W PoE++ Power
The TPE-119GI supports three major PoE standards:
- IEEE 802.3af PoE: Up to 15.4W
- IEEE 802.3at PoE+: Up to 30W
- IEEE 802.3bt PoE++: Up to 95W
Auto-sensing technology determines the appropriate power level required by the connected compatible device.
This high-power output makes the injector suitable for modern PoE++ equipment requiring more power than traditional PoE and PoE+ solutions can provide.
Convert a Non-PoE Port to PoE++
The TPE-119GI allows organizations to add PoE power without replacing an existing non-PoE Gigabit Ethernet switch.
Connect:
Non-PoE Network Switch → TPE-119GI → PoE/PoE+/PoE++ Device
This can reduce equipment and installation costs when only individual devices require PoE power.
Gigabit Ethernet Performance
The injector provides one Gigabit Ethernet data input and one Gigabit PoE++ output.
The Ethernet interface supports:
- 10Mbps
- 100Mbps
- 1000Mbps
The Gigabit interface provides up to 2000Mbps full-duplex data transfer.
100-Meter PoE Transmission Distance
The TPE-119GI can provide a PoE network connection up to 100 meters (328 feet) from the injector when used with appropriate Ethernet cabling and compatible equipment.
This allows PoE devices to be positioned away from the network switch while receiving both power and data through one Ethernet cable.
Easy Plug-and-Play Installation
The TPE-119GI requires no software configuration.
Simply connect the network switch to the injector's Gigabit Data In port, connect the PoE device to the Gigabit PoE++ Out port, and connect the injector to AC power.
LED indicators provide visual confirmation of PoE connectivity.
Integrated Power Supply
The TPE-119GI features an integrated power supply and accepts 100–240V AC, 50/60Hz input power.
This eliminates the need for a separate external power brick and simplifies installation.
Durable Wall-Mount Design
The injector features a sturdy metal enclosure and wall-mountable design, making it suitable for network closets, offices, surveillance installations, access-control deployments, and other professional networking environments.
