Description
The BaiCells SBS71040 Nova846 is an outdoor LTE TDD eNodeB designed for wireless broadband coverage and private LTE network deployments. Its 8T8R radio configuration provides eight 5 W transmit channels and supports Single Carrier, Carrier Aggregation, and Dual Carrier operation.
This model is specified for LTE TDD Band 41, covering 2496–2690 MHz. In Carrier Aggregation mode, it can aggregate up to 40 MHz of bandwidth, while Dual Carrier mode allows the two carriers to operate as separate cells. The base station supports LTE 3GPP Release 15 and can interoperate with standard LTE Evolved Packet Core (EPC) systems.
The Nova846 provides external antenna connections, GPS synchronization, and Ethernet and optical-fiber backhaul options. It accepts a 48 V-class DC power input and has an IP66-rated enclosure for outdoor installations. Local and remote web management, Self-Organizing Network (SON) capabilities, and BaiCells' embedded HaloB core-network option are also documented for the product family.
Compatibility note: This is an LTE base station, not a standalone Wi-Fi router. Deployment requires suitable antennas, compatible LTE subscriber equipment, an appropriate core-network configuration, compatible power, and authorization to use the intended spectrum.
